Green Bikes  is Ireland’s authorized distributor Italwin and Wayel –  Italian e-bikes manufactured by FIVE – Fabbrica Italiana Veicoli Elettrici.

We are based in the Sandyford Business District, County Dublin. We are part of SBD Project Green for a greener and sustainable space for businesses and residents alike.

Green Technology: Our electric bicycles are produced in Italy at zero emissions, using renewable energy.  All e-bike frames are manually painted using water-based paints, not oils.

Italwin and Wayel e-bike range include models with elegant and sport designs, powerful engines and long range batteries, equipped with anti-theft GPS.

An electric bike is an investment in your personal health and lifestyle, not to mentioned the financial benefits that go along with that, with the Cycle to Work scheme and tax relief available.

Green Bikes and Five endevour to support the development of a green ecosystem, our commitment to help changing the landscape of urban mobility in the island of Ireland. Go Green!

Located in the “Bicycle Valley” of Bologna, FIVE has a production capacity of 10,000 electric bicycles per year.  A Lab is fully dedicated to R&D –  motor and battery production where FIVE engineers carry out multiple testing to develop cutting-edge components for the e-bikes.

The bicycle frames are manually spray painted with water-based paints – not oils – better for the environment. This water-painting technique is actually more precise and durable since each frame is hand-painted by a highly skilled painting operator. The solar-powered paint drying room operates at the optimal heating temperature to give a long-lasting and smooth paint finish.

Next, a double layer of decals is applied for the logos and design elements on the frame. All done by hand. The finished frames are then moved by conveyor to the warehouse ready to be staged for the final assembly. Once the e-bike is fully assembled it is then moved to a separate Quality Control department to check all functions meet the requirements. Each e-bike is then test-ridden by the QC staff before it gets fully certified.

Once the e-bike gets the Five stamp of approval, it is boxed and delivered to Green Bikes in Ireland. When you receive your e-bike there is no need for adjustments except to screw on the pedals and up-right and tighten the handlebars. Enjoy the ride!
